The life of a missionary kid is one that few people understand. Some of us imagine children on an endless adventure, braving all sorts of danger in some remote jungle halfway across the globe. However, for former missionary kid Marcella Palmer, adjusting to life away from the mission field was a far greater challenge. In Strangers at My Doorstep, Marcella shares her unique experience growing up in a family of missionaries to Africa. Although she has come face-to-face with a great deal of hardship over the years, including inner conflict that made her feel like a stranger in her own home, she has found peace and stability in her loving heavenly Father. Join Marcella as she relives her journey from confusion and pain to the hope and healing that can only be found in a relationship with God.
Marcella Palmer is seventy-four years old. She has three grown children, and was married three times, divorced twice, and widowed once to her last husband. Marcella is retired, and currently resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
